The Induction Programme for Academic Staff Members 2024 was conducted from 11th December 2023 to 3rd September 2024, at the SDC Hall, EUSL. The target group for this programme was newly recruited academic staff members. The award ceremony was held on January 18, 2025.

A Series of Workshops on Multiplication Training Programme for Non-Academic Staff by ENACT Staff Development Cell was conducted from 06th March 2024 to 22nd March 2024 for all Administrative and Non–Academic staff members of EUSL in the SDC Hall, EUSL. The resource person for this workshop was Prof. V. Kanagasingam, Vice Chancellor, EUSL, Mr. M. M. M. Fareez, Bursar, EUSL, Mrs. N. Nirumithan, Deputy Registrar, Academic Affairs, EUSL, Mr. A. Pahirathan, Registrar, EUSL and Mr. V. Navirathan, Deputy Registrar, Non-Academic Establishments, EUSL.

Workshop on How to Deal with Students was conducted on 06th February 2024 from 2.15 p.m. to 4.15 p.m. for all Management Assistants who interact with students. Preference will be given to the staff of the Academic Affairs Department, Student Affairs Department and the Dean’s Offices in the SDC Hall, EUSL. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Thambirajah Prabaharan, Deputy Vice Chancellor, EUSL and Dr. T. Geretharan, Director/SSS&W, EUSL

Awareness Session on TAX Regulations was conducted on 06th February 2024 from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. for all staff members of EULS in the SDC Hall, EUSL. The officials from the Inland Revenue Department, Batticaloa, served as the resource persons for this session.

A hands-on training session was conducted for the laboratory staff members of the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Technology on 14th November 2023 at the Laboratory, Dept. of Physics, Faulty of Science.

The outbound sessions of the Training on Visionary Academic Administrative Leadership 2023 was conducted on 02nd, 3rd & 4th November 2023 at the Southern Campus, KDU in Sooriyawewa. The target group for this workshop was academic staff who wish to be prospective academic administrative leaders in the university system. The sessions were facilitated by the Southern Campus, KDU.

A Training of Trainers (ToT) Sessions on the Course titled “Learning to live with Diversity” was conducted on 21st of September 2023 from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. at SDC hall, EUSL. The resource persons for this workshop are Prof. Hemamalie Gunatilaka, Dr. Prabha Manuratne and
Dr. Dushan Jayawickrama. The target group for this workshop was nominated Academic staff of EUSL.

Training on Visionary Academic Administrative Leadership - 2023 sessions were conducted on 14th & 15th September 2023 from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. in the Lecture Hall, Postgraduate Institute of Management, Colombo. The target group for this workshop was the academic staff who wished to be prospective academic administrative leaders in the university system.

The Resource persons for this workshop is Dr. Kumaresan Raja N.K., Professor, Pondicherry University, India. The target group for this workshop was all interested Academic Staff of EUSL.
