The Vice Chancellor, Eastern University, Sri Lanka Prof. V. Kanagasingam met the delegates from the Brandix Apparel Solutions Ltd. on 30th May, 2022 at the Office of the Vice Chancellor.

The delegates visited, on the invitation of the Career Guidance Unit of the University for an official discussion to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Eastern University, Sri Lanka and the Brandix Lanka Ltd. to strengthen the career guidance activities of the university.

The Career Guidance Unit, Eastern University, Sri Lanka proposed to the Brandix to provide internship, and job opportunities to the undergraduates, resource persons for the career guidance programmes, exposure visit to the apparel factories, role model visualization, mentoring of professionals, and participate in the Career Fair through this MOU.

Registrar of the University Mr. A.Pahirathan, Director of the Career Guidance Unit Assoc. Prof.(Dr.)J.Sutha, and the officials of the Career Guidance Unit were graced the meeting.
