The Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) of the Eastern University, Sri Lanka (EUSL) successfully conducted an Awareness Programme on Programme Review for Student Representatives on 26th November 2025. The session took place at the Seminar Hall of the Staff Development Centre.

The primary objective of the programme was to raise awareness about the Programme Review process for the degree programmes offered by the Faculty of Arts and Culture and to strengthen student engagement in university quality assurance activities. The discussion focused on key areas such as teaching and learning, and assessment and examination practices.

This programme was specially organized for Student Union members and batch representatives of the Faculty of Arts and Culture, ensuring that key student leaders are well-informed and actively involved in supporting quality assurance initiatives.

The session was conducted by Prof. P. Elango, Director of the CQA, who provided valuable insights into the purpose and significance of the programme review cycle.
