“Madai Paraval,” a Traditional Food Festival

The CICL (Centre for Industry Community Linkage) successfully organised the aforementioned event on February 21, 2026, in accordance with the decision taken at its 13th Management Committee. The following stakeholders participated in the event, which took place at the Technopark Premises on February 21, 2026, from 9.30 am to 2.30 pm.

The following traditional, nutritious, and healthy food items, which are few and scarce in today's world, were shown, presented, and sold by the aforementioned stakeholders. The many attendees appreciated the food items and raised awareness. Members of the Suriya Women's Organisation performed songs and a traditional folkdance throughout the ceremony to brighten the mood and create a nice atmosphere.

The Vice chancellor of EUSL, Prof. P. Peratheepan, was also present, expressed interest to acquire more about the traditional food items, and encouraged the organisers.
