The Centre for Quality Assurance conducted a Workshop on SLQF Level Certification on 25.03.2024 at the Board Room, Trincomalee Campus of Eastern University, Sri Lanka.

The purpose of this workshop was to given awareness on obtaining the SLQF Certification for the degree programmes.

The Centre for Quality Assurance conducted a Quality Audit on Bachelor of Honours in Biosystems Technology in Agricultural Technology and Entrepreneurship study programme offered by the Faculty of Technology (FOT), Eastern University, Sri Lanka 11.03.2024 at the faculty.

The purpose of this audit was to ensure the degree programme is meeting the standards specified in the Programme Review Manual and complying the SLQF requirements.

Workshop for the Preparation of SER Writing for Institutional Review was conducted for the Swamy Vipulananda Institute of Aesthetic Studies (SVIAS) on 05.01.2024 at the Board Room, SVIAS. The target group for the workshop was the Director, Head of Departments, SER Writing Team, and Administrative Staff.

The resource person for the workshop was Dr. P. Elango – Acting Director / Centre for Quality Assurance, EUSL.

Workshop on Programme Review 2023 was conducted for the Faculty of Arts and Culture, Eastern University, Sri Lanka on 26.09.2023 at the Board Room of the Faculty of Arts and Culture, Eastern University, Sri Lanka. Target group for the workshop was Dean, Head of the Departments, SER Writers, Senior Academic Staff, FQAC Coordinator, and Administrative Staff of the faculty.

The resource person for the workshop was Dr. P. Elango – Director / Centre for Quality Assurance, EUSL.

The meeting between the Administrative Staff of the Eastern University, Sri Lanka and the Review Team for the Site Visit of Institutional Review (IR) 2023 was held on 08.05.2023 at the Board Room EUSL.

The presentation of the Vice-Chancellor to the Review Team for the Site Visit of Institutional Review (IR) 2023 was held on 08.05.2023 at the Board Room, EUSL. It was presented in the presence of the Members of the Council, Deans, Directors of Centres /Units, Director / CQA, Registrar, Bursar, Librarian, Marshall, Senior Medical Officer, Wardens, Senior Student Counsellors of Eastern University, Sri Lanka.

The meeting between the Vice Chancellor of Eastern University, Sri Lanka and the Review Team for the Site Visit of Institutional Review (IR) 2023 was held on 08.05.2023 at the Office of the Vice Chancellor, EUSL.

A Special Meeting with the Faculty Quality Assurance Coordinators was conducted on 19.12.2022 at 02.00 p.m. at the Seminar Hall, Staff Development Centre, EUSL.

The meeting was held with the participation of Snr. Prof. Tilak P D Gamage Director / Quality Assurance Council of University Grants Commission.

This was focused on implementation of the Quality Assurance mechanism at the faculty level.

A Special Meeting of the Senate Standing Committee Meeting on Quality Assurance was conducted on 19.12.2022 at 09.00 a.m. at the Board Room, EUSL.

The meeting was chaired by the Vice Chancellor with the participation of Snr. Prof. Tilak P D Gamage Director / Quality Assurance Council of University Grants Commission.

This was focused on implementation of the Quality Assurance mechanism at the University level.
