WORKSHOP ON SPOKEN SINHALA TO SECURITY OFFICERS OF EUSL

The first day of the workshop on Spoken Sinhala to Security Officers of EUSL, Trincomalee Campus & SVIAS and other interested staff of EUSL was commenced on 17.08.2019 from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. at the SDC hall, EUSL. The resource person for the module on “Self-Introduction and Introducing other, Improving appropriate vocabulary in Sinhala day to day life (Yes / No, be, exist/ want, not want/ Question words….)” was Mrs. M. D. Wanasinghe, Visiting Instructor, Department of Languages, Faculty of Arts & Culture, EUSL.

The second day of the workshop on Spoken Sinhala to Security Officers of EUSL, Trincomalee Campus & SVIAS and other interested staff of EUSL was conducted on 24.08.2019 from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. at the SDC hall, EUSL. The resource person for the module on “Greeting and Welcoming, Commanding and Requesting (using Imperative Verbs (command and polite) / Infinitive Verbs)” was Mrs. M. D. Wanasinghe, Visiting Instructor, Department of Languages, Faculty of Arts & Culture, EUSL.

The third day of the workshop on Spoken Sinhala to Security Officers of EUSL, Trincomalee Campus & SVIAS and other interested staff of EUSL was conducted on 31.08.2019 from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. at the Main hall, EUSL. The resource person for the module on “Talking and Asking about Activities (Daily / General Activities)” was Mr. M. R. Dickson, Visiting Instructor, Department of Languages, Faculty of Arts & Culture, EUSL.

The fourth day of the workshop on Spoken Sinhala to Security Officers of EUSL, Trincomalee Campus & SVIAS and other interested staff of EUSL was conducted on 07.09.2019 from 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. at the Main hall, EUSL. The resource person for the module on “Simple General / Personal Questions on Every day activities (Topics are where you live, work your favourite food, about your friends and staff etc.)” was Mrs. M. D. Wanasinghe, Visiting Instructor, Department of Languages, Faculty of Arts & Culture, EUSL.

The fifth day of the workshop on Spoken Sinhala to Security Officers of EUSL, Trincomalee Campus & SVIAS and other interested staff of EUSL was conducted on 19.10.2019 from 9.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m. at the Main hall, EUSL. The resource person for the module on “Meeting and Identifying people Identifying things” was Mr. M. R. Dickson, Visiting Instructor, Department of Languages, Faculty of Arts & Culture, EUSL.
